Great music, solid PR and an efficient digital distribution network are the key ingredients to this success story.
Prolix owns, runs and mostly releases on Trendkill Records these days and it’s a label that has threatened to make big leaps for a while now. It’s been a busy few weeks at Railbird HQ as we work on the transition process for a lot of labels since STHoldings decided to close their doors. The aim has been to minimise the downtime for labels and their digital content in order to avoid any possible loss of revenue that became likely due to the short notice period given by their previous distributor. We’re happy to announce that the process is nearly complete and as we now start to look forward to new releases from our labels, we’d like to take this opportunity to showcase some of the latest titles, plus imminent forthcoming releases to look out for:
HOTSHIT011 [Hot Haus Recs] Trumpet & Badman – Str8 Jugglin RELEASED: 11th August via Juno / 18th August General release
CHST033 [Chestplate] Leon Switch – Deadlock RELEASED: 11th August via Juno / 18th August general release

Plenty more releases for the end of August to report shortly including the launch of Blind Music‘s catalogue, a new release on Wheel & Deal from label boss N-Type, a new EP from US label Liondub. Things start to really pick up pace release-wise in September ready for the build up to a strong end to the year!
